LEED Home Tour to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities

I am honored and excited to be participating in a tour of Winnetka's first LEED registered home, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities. The tour runs Thursdays through Sundays, through May 30, at 1092 Oak Street in Winnetka. Click here for more information on the tour.

When I first heard about the tour, I was in! Earth and family friendly -- both causes near and dear to my heart. I agreed to do one room . . . and two weeks later we had installed almost the entire first floor!

A-MAZE-ing Things: Not your granny's D. Porthault

My mother introduced me to D. Porthault linens when I was a little girl and I’ve absolutely adored them ever since. The colors (you’ll hear me say this a lot, but color is my life!), the prints, the dressmaker details. Divine.

When I decided to open MAZE Home, I knew I wanted to feature these beautiful Parisian linens in the store.

A-MAZE-ing Things

I have to confess I love everything single thing in the store at MAZE Home (the merchandise, my customers and my wonderful team!).

And I don't want to part with any of them. Seriously, I have separation anxiety when certain items get sold.

Trunk Show: Lisa Cotten

Thank you, thank you for supporting MAZE Home Store's first trunk show! And what a stunning show it was in many ways. Lisa's jewelry was exquisite as always - the stones, the colors, the dramatic yet wearable designs. Yet our clients were the A-MAZE-ing "feature of the day".
