Oh, my! Two semi-trucks showed up at the same time this morning and they filled up the sidewalk in front of the store with eight palettes of wonderful new furniture, accessories and gifts!

My mother introduced me to D. Porthault linens when I was a little girl and I’ve absolutely adored them ever since. The colors (you’ll hear me say this a lot, but color is my life!), the prints, the dressmaker details. Divine.

First let me introduce myself. I’ve been an interior designer for 30 years through my company Bardes Interiors and just recently opened a home design store in Winnetka called MAZE Home Store. I am married to a business executive and am a mother of two grown sons. Recently we were thrilled to add a sweet daughter-in-law to our family. Finally someone to shop with!
